Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position in North Carolina, with Epic experience required and an EKG exam required during onboarding.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Tele unit with a primarily Medical/Surgical patient population
• Patient population includes observation, respiratory, general med/surg, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating across all facilities within the health system may be required

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding; two attempts are allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• Prior Charge RN experience is preferred
