Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 17-week Stepdown/IMCU night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications and experience managing vented patients and critical drips.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) serving as a bridge between PCU and ICU
• Patient population includes vented patients requiring critical drip management
• Patient ratio is 3:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a
• Every other weekend required
• Charting system: MEDITECH

Requirements

• Active RN license — GA or Compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency in medication management required
• Experience with vented patients and critical drips required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (measured to the address on the driver's license) to be eligible for placement

Additional Information

• Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for placement
• Any time-off requests must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment
• 17-week contract
