American Traveler is hiring an experienced Surgical Services CVOR Tech for a high-acuity Cardiovascular OR setting specializing in complex open-heart and vascular procedures, with call requirements and scrub experience required.

Details

• High-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specializing in complex open-heart and vascular procedures
• Team currently operates four rooms daily, running until 1700
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call is required, averaging approximately 10 days per month including weekends
• Epic charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Experience with both open-heart and vascular surgery procedures required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travel-friendly environment with flexible scheduling whenever possible
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
