American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ER position requiring Epic charting experience, with certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS in hand at time of consideration.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• 2 weekend shifts required per contract
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KS or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required at time of consideration: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff members must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years will be required for consideration
