American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, requiring at least 18 months of CVOR experience and strong endovascular skills.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital operating room, specifically within a cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit
• Patient population includes adult cardiac and vascular surgical cases, with strong endovascular case volume
• Strong proficiency across cardiac and vascular procedures expected, rated at a high skill level (3-4 out of 4)
• AM shift, 10-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand (required for RN candidates)
• Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within a setting of similar acuity, within the last 3 years
• High proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures required (self-rated 3–4 out of 4)
• Strong endovascular experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract; consecutive days of RTO during the holiday period will not be approved and must be spread out
