American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Program Manager - Stroke leadership position requiring a Master's degree, DC RN license, and 3-5 years of related experience in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based Comprehensive Stroke Program management role
• Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Master's degree in a related field required
• 3-5 years of related experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a U.S. hospital in the specialty area required
• CNRN certification preferred
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
• AHA-issued certifications only accepted
• CPI certification required for this position
• Strong leadership, project management, and operations analysis skills
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical reporting, and quality management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, licensure regulations, and state/federal healthcare requirements
• Knowledge of Performance Improvement methodology and outcomes management
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for developing, managing, and leading strategies for system-wide operations of the Comprehensive Stroke Program
• Leads development, communication, and implementation of a strategic growth plan aligned with organizational goals
• Drives performance through data-driven approaches and quality improvement initiatives
• Communicates strategic vision, scope, and goals through interdisciplinary committees
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to advance quality, safety, and education for stroke patient care, targeting national quality benchmarks
• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
