American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post-Partum position requiring at least 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to float within state facilities.

Details

• Work in a hospital Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post-Partum unit
• Patient population includes post-partum vaginal and cesarean delivery, GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery
• Procedures include tubal ligation, circumcision, and scrubbing/circulating for C-sections
• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:30
• Weekend shifts required to meet staffing needs
• Floating may be required to NICU or L&D, as well as between all facilities within Washington state
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Mother-Baby / Post-Partum RN experience required
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP, blood/blood product administration, cooling/warming blankets, 12-lead EKG, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, and medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Experience scrubbing and circulating C-sections, LDRP, and low-risk L&D required
• Must attend all deliveries
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates with prior Providence facility experience (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location(s) and dates worked
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact consideration
• 13-week contract
