American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiology Clinic position requiring an active Montana (or compact) RN license and outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology clinic setting
• Day shift schedule, approximately 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• 36 hours per week worked over four 9-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Montana RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to sit, walk, or stand for eight or more hours during extended shifts
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis analysis, individualized plan of care development and implementation, and patient and family education
• Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, chemicals, medications, and radiation in the course of daily duties
• Strong emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to de-escalate challenging patient or family situations are important for success in this role
