American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (Perinatal) position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications with charge nurse capability and an every-other-weekend schedule.

Details

• Perinatal unit within a hospital setting
• Unit includes 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 postpartum/well-baby rooms, and 2 NICU beds in the nursery
• Facility delivers approximately 80–90 births per month
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
• 8-hour evening shifts beginning at 2:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating may be required to Mother Baby unit
• No floating to other unrelated units
• EMR: Centricity for charting; Paragon for medication documentation
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Demonstrated L&D nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience or capability required

Additional Information

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a busy perinatal unit averaging 80–90 deliveries per month
• Candidate should be prepared to take charge when needed
• Experience with Centricity EMR and Paragon medication charting is beneficial
