American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Mother Baby (Couplet Care) position in the Kansas City area, requiring a current KS or compact RN license and NRP certification.

Details

• Mother & Baby unit specializing in couplet care, including postpartum and well-baby nursing
• Night shift position, 6:45 PM – 6:45 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to the Special Care Nursery (SCN) required

Requirements

• Active Kansas (KS) or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Couplet care (postpartum and well-baby) experience required

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required or an approved declination (booster not required)
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be needed for consideration
