American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Dialysis position in Austin, TX, requiring at least 1 year of acute dialysis experience and proficiency with IHD, PD, and CRRT.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital dialysis unit serving multiple facilities within a health system
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Rotating weekend requirement
• On-call requirement: one 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift per week and one Sunday every 6 weeks
• Patient ratios: 2:1 in multi-room settings and 1:1 for bedside
• Equipment used includes Tablo, Prismax, and Amia dialysis machines
• EMR: Meditech
• Navy scrubs required

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand at time of consideration)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute dialysis RN experience
• Experience with IHD, PD, and CRRT required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Permanent positions may be available on the unit following the travel assignment
