American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Infusion/Oncology position requiring an ONS/ONCC Chemo Certification and Epic proficiency, serving a primarily hematology/oncology patient population Monday through Friday.

Details

• Outpatient infusion center setting
• Patient population is approximately 85% hematology/oncology and 15% non-oncology (rheumatology, GI, neurology, pulmonology)
• Patients receive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies
• 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday, typically 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (start times may vary between 7:15–7:45 AM; shift end may vary based on last patient)
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Epic EMR required
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington state

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or valid compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
• OCN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Infusion center and/or outpatient oncology experience required; inpatient oncology experience may be considered
• IM and subcutaneous injection experience required
• Therapeutic phlebotomy experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and non-oncology infusions to a diverse outpatient population
• Former permanent Providence employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
• Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose location(s) and dates worked
