American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / OB Inpatient position in Urbana, IL, requiring an IL RN license and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Inpatient OB Services unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week (3x12s)
• Minimum of 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays required per 6-week schedule period
• 5 weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) required per 6-week period
• Holiday shifts required for schedule balancing
• Epic EMR — experience required
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current NRP certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant RN experience
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Proficiency in medication administration, EMR documentation, patient care procedures, and safety reporting

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to OB/inpatient patients, including patient assessments, infant care, medication administration, and EMR documentation
• Develop and modify individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs in accordance with unit standards
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
