American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiology Clinic RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado, requiring at least 3 years of cardiology-specific clinic experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology (Heart and Vascular) clinic setting
• Cardiology patient population including diagnostic and care coordination services
• Procedures include EKGs, Exercise Stress Tests, Tilt Table Tests, IV placement, and heart monitoring
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule
• No call and no weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of cardiology-specific clinic or ambulatory care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
• Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• CO or compact RN license copy (including Nursys verification for RNs) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include triaging and assessing patient concerns, providing care coordination across cardiology services, and assisting with diagnostic procedures
• Additional duties include patient education on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans, as well as occasional patient rooming
• A CAPS (Colorado background check) clearance is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should plan accordingly
• Local candidates are not eligible — permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
