American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse-Infusion for an Outpatient Oncology position requiring Epic experience and 3+ years of oncology nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Infusion unit providing outpatient oncology care
• Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Utilizes Epic charting system
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit needs
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact), OR license required for consideration
• Current BLS certification (AHA Traditional, RQI not accepted)
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• BSN preferred
• OCN and TCTCN certifications preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Outpatient Oncology experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skilled in chemotherapy administration
• Must achieve a minimum score of 85% on Relias exams
• Clear background check required with no license or background hits accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including administration of chemotherapy in an infusion or outpatient oncology setting
• BMT and Infusion Center experience preferred
• Inpatient oncology experience also relevant to this role
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate with no mile radius requirement
• Floating to affiliate hospitals nearby may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 2 weeks
• Former OHSU employees or travelers must have been gone at least 6 months to be eligible to return
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
