American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a community hematology/oncology infusion clinic role requiring active OR licensure, ONS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience.

Details

• Outpatient community hematology/oncology infusion clinic setting
• Adult hematology and general medical oncology patient population
• RN serves as a patient navigator, providing education and care coordination
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00–17:30), Monday–Sunday on a variable basis
• Floating to five clinic locations (Beaverton, NW Portland, Gresham, East Portland, and Tualatin) is required based on staffing needs; float location preferences based on traveler's residence will be considered when possible
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, Chemotherapy Certification, and ONS (Oncology Nursing Society)
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of ambulatory infusion experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required; Charge RN references are not acceptable
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include chemotherapy/infusion administration, patient education, and care coordination across community oncology clinic sites
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction
• Previously employed staff or prior travelers at this health system must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Former employees or prior travelers at this health system will require a reference from the OHSU manager who previously supervised them
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks
