Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Certified Wound Care RN for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Arizona, requiring a mandatory wound care certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Details

• Outpatient clinic (PCC) setting focused on wound and ostomy care
• Patient population includes those with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and acute and/or chronic wounds
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend or holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Wound Care Certification is mandatory
• Minimum 3 years of wound care experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement care for complex wound and ostomy patients

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive wound and ostomy assessment, care planning, and patient/family education on supply and equipment selection
• Provides evaluation and recommendations for wound care supplies and equipment to optimize patient outcomes
• 13-week contract
