American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a chronic in-center Dialysis position in Washington, requiring a WA or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with prior dialysis experience.

Details

• Chronic, in-center dialysis setting covering multiple peninsula clinic locations (Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Port Townsend)
• Dialysis patient population receiving ongoing in-center treatment
• Shifts are 10–13 hours in length, with both AM and PM shifts available
• Schedule may include any day Monday through Saturday depending on staffing needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA State RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous dialysis experience required
• Must be able to work at any assigned peninsula clinic location
• Must be available for AM or PM shifts as needed

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include overseeing dialysis delivery, patient education, adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, administering medications, and monitoring patient outcomes
• Supervises Dialysis Technicians as part of daily duties
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists
• Participates in quality improvement projects
• Prior experience in acute or ambulatory nursing is preferred
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
