American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of acute care ICU experience, Cerner proficiency, and CPI certification in a multidisciplinary critical care setting.

Details

• 13-week contract at a hospital-based ICU
• Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Technology utilized includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIHSS, and CPI (must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU acute care experience in a US hospital required
• BSN highly desired
• US Social Security Number required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Provides comprehensive patient care to a diverse critical care population, including operating and monitoring advanced life-support and hemodynamic equipment
• Care is delivered in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements, with attention to the needs of patients, families, and the community
