American Traveler is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Clinic RN for a 13-week contract in Portland, OR, requiring Epic proficiency and obstetric emergency knowledge.

Details

• Outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting in Portland, OR
• Provides maternity and gynecological care for women
• Patient population includes obstetric and gynecological cases requiring triage and clinical support
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating between all facilities within Oregon is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license required; pending license is acceptable if application has already been submitted
• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience required
• Strong knowledge of obstetric emergencies including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension (gestational hypertension and preeclampsia)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include phone triage for obstetric emergencies, responding to patient inquiries via Epic and voicemail, and performing general clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
