American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification, with exposure to advanced cardiac procedures including STEMI, ECMO, and Structural Heart.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Performs advanced cardiac procedures including STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart
• Uses Philips imaging equipment with Siemens imaging equipment being added
• Documentation in Epic; hemodynamic system is Xper
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hrs/week)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• ARRT certification required
• Minimum of 2 recent years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required
• Travel experience at Level 1 required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex in the Cath Lab environment
• Responsibilities include monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members throughout the care episode
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after completing 26 weeks (one contract plus one extension) before being eligible to return
• Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced — onboarding requirements including drug screens and background checks must be initiated immediately upon offer acceptance
