Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a float pool position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, a CA RN license, and BSN for a 25-week hospital contract.

Details

• Float pool position covering all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU — this is not a unit-based assignment
• 12-hour day and night rotating shifts (7:00–19:30 days / 19:00–7:30 nights), with schedule cycles that may alternate between shifts based on need
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Floating to other UCSF facilities and departments is required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters is highly relevant to this role

Additional Information

• Preferred candidates have 2.5+ years of ICU experience and NIHSS certification
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of offer — RTO requests made after the contract is signed will not be accommodated
• RTO will be added to the end of the contract
