American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Room travel contract in Janesville, WI, requiring active WI licensure and trauma certifications for night shift coverage.

Details

• Emergency Room setting within a hospital and trauma center
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract
• Traveler may be required to work at additional Emergency Department locations within the Janesville and Beloit areas

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
• Prior Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Education verification required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and applicable state law
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family instruction
• Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
• Applies critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalates concerns through the appropriate chain of command
