Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with vascular experience for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital in Maryland, working evening/night shifts across a high-volume surgical suite.

Details

• Community hospital setting with 14 ORs averaging 35–40 cases per day
• Mix of outpatient and inpatient surgical cases
• Primary specialties include General, GYN, Plastics, Orthopedics, and Bariatrics
• Patient population spans pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups
• Shift hours: 11:00–23:30 (evening/night)
• On-call requirement: 4 calls per 6-week schedule
• Call schedule includes 2 weekday calls and 2 independent weekend day/night calls per 6-week period

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in an acute care setting
• Vascular experience is required
• Preferred specialty experience in Ortho, Vascular, Robotic, or Plastics surgery
• Scrub experience is a plus but not required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• Copy of Driver's License required
• Copy of certifications and license verification (Nursys) required

• Non-trauma designated community hospital
• Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies — candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
