Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of acute care OR experience and required vascular experience for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Works in a non-trauma designated community hospital with 14 operating rooms
• Average case volume of 35–40 cases per day with a mix of outpatient and inpatient cases
• Primary specialties include General, GYN, Plastics, Orthopedic, and Bariatrics
• Patient population spans pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups
• Shift hours are 11:00–23:30
• On-call requirement of 4 calls per 6-week schedule, including 2 weekday calls and 2 independent weekend day/night calls

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in an acute care setting
• Vascular experience is required
• Preferred specialty experience in Ortho, Vascular, Robotic surgery, and Plastics
• Scrub experience is a plus but not required
• Current certifications required (BLS at minimum)
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• A copy of Driver's License is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Skills checklist and copies of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration

Additional Information

• Nursys license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Any disciplinary actions on record may require completion of a FACIS Questionnaire along with supporting board documents
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
