American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position in Temple, TX, requiring 2+ years of CVOR experience and an active TX RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR setting in Central Texas
• Cardiovascular and thoracic surgical patient population with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include open heart surgery, open vascular surgery, and endovascular surgery
• PM shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 1300–2130
• On-call responsibilities required
• Floating may be required if called in
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license (or compact license with TX as primary state) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Experience with open heart, open vascular, and endovascular surgical procedures required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu shot required — no exemptions granted
• Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration

• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers accepted
• Flu vaccination is mandatory and typically administered between August and November
• Candidates who have previously worked as a permanent employee at any Baylor facility may have restricted eligibility
