American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 2 years of step-down experience, with an IA or compact RN license and willingness to float to the ED.

Details

• Progressive Care/Step-Down Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Floating to the Emergency Department (ED) is required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of step-down/PCU experience required
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week (11/26–11/30) and the winter holiday period (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
