American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night Shift Nursing Coordinator (Administration) position, requiring ACLS, BLS, and a BSN at minimum with experience at a comparable large hospital facility.

Details

• Hospital administration/nursing coordinator role focused on patient throughput and bed management
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• One winter holiday and one summer holiday required, with coverage including both the eve and the day of the holiday
• No floating or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• BSN required (minimum)
• CCRN or CNL certification preferred
• Experience at a comparable large-facility size (500+ bed facility) required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves as the primary operational lead for hospital-wide patient flow and throughput on the assigned shift
• Facilitates centralized bed management, coordinating ED admits, direct admits, and surgical admits to maximize inpatient bed utilization and reduce turnaround delays
• Communicates continuously with leadership and staff across all hospital units and departments to ensure alignment with the daily patient flow plan
