American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Neuro (8C) night shift position in Peoria, IL, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Inpatient Neuro unit (8C) within a hospital setting
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• May float to other system hospitals including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing required; temporary license accepted
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred

Additional Information

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, and adjusts plans based on ongoing patient evaluation
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support continuity of care across the healthcare team
• Contributes to a culture of safety by identifying and reporting hazards, and supports peer development through constructive feedback
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have been on continuous assignment with Carle Health for one year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any Carle Health location
