American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an outpatient Methadone Clinic position in Danvers, MA, requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and preferred methadone dosing experience.

Details

• Outpatient methadone clinic setting located in Danvers, MA
• Serves an adult patient population diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
• Primary function involves methadone dispensing using onsite dispensing pumps
• Uses Epic EMR
• Tuesday through Friday schedule, 10 hours per week (2.5 hours per day)
• Shift hours are either 6:00 AM–8:30 AM or 7:00 AM–9:30 AM
• No floating required
• No charge nurse responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• 1 or more years of consistent methadone dosing experience preferred, ideally full-time
• BLS certification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
• Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before being considered
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions accepted)
• MA RN license, required certifications, and flu vaccine documentation required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides methadone dosing services to outpatient clinic patients under the direction of the OTP Nurse Manager
• Responsible for safe administration of medication and monitoring patient effectiveness
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary staff to deliver direct and indirect patient care
