American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric IV Therapy / Vascular Access Team RN for a 13-week travel contract in Boston, requiring dedicated children's hospital experience and ultrasound-guided IV placement skills.

Details

• Hospital-based Pediatric IV Therapy / Vascular Access Team setting within a dedicated children's hospital
• Patient population spans pediatric through adult, with experience in HemeOnc and ICU settings preferred
• Rotating day/night schedule with 12-hour shifts and start times of 7:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 7:00 PM
• Shift rotations include 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, and 3:00 PM–3:30 AM
• Weekend work is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Vascular Access / IV Therapy RN
• Experience on a dedicated pediatric vascular access team required
• Background from a dedicated children's hospital required
• Ultrasound-guided IV placement experience required
• Vein finder experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Performs peripheral IV placements and vascular access procedures across a pediatric to adult patient population

• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for a reduced local pay rate
