Description

American Traveler is seeking a certified RN - Lactation Consultant for a Postpartum unit position requiring IBCLC or CLC certification, prior travel nursing experience, and an active Massachusetts RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Postpartum unit (5N)
• Schedule is 8-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week (32 hrs/week)
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Epic EMR experience is required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (current or conditional)
• Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
• IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) or CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor) certification required
• 1-2 years of RN experience required
• 1-2 years of lactation RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 recent references from a Charge RN, Manager, or Supervisor in a matching specialty
• Driver's license required

Additional Information

• Provides lactation consulting and postpartum nursing care
• Orientation is held bi-weekly
• RTO must be submitted upfront; no more than 5 days will be approved and RTO cannot be guaranteed after confirmation
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
