American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active GA or Compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, with every-other-weekend availability.

Details

• Position is based in an Emergency Department (ED) setting in Decatur, GA
• Floating to the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is required as needed
• Schedule requires working every other weekend

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a separation of 18 months is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if the time off falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract
• RTO requests during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if they consist of several consecutive days
