Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department requiring ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications along with a GA or compact license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting at a hospital
• 3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 18 months of relevant experience required

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when it does
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
