American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care position in the Northwoods area of Wisconsin, serving a geriatric end-of-life patient population with a Monday–Friday day schedule and no on-call requirements.

Details

• Hospice home health setting serving the Arbor Vitae/Northwoods territory of Wisconsin
• Geriatric end-of-life care patient population
• Expected 5–7 patient visits per day within up to a 60-mile travel radius
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements
• EMR: HCHB (experience required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospice RN experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Provide case management and direct nursing care to hospice patients in a home/community-based setting across the Northwoods territory
• Timely documentation and communication are essential to this role
• Flexibility with territory coverage is expected
• iPad device provided for documentation purposes
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
• Local candidates are accepted and are eligible for the travel pay rate
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
