American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) travel position in Spartanburg, SC, requiring at least 1 year of LTC experience and comfort with high patient ratios.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) facility setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis
• Patient ratio of 1:22–44; candidates must be comfortable with high patient ratios
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required (pending license considered, but must be obtained prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required; 2 years preferred
• Must be comfortable managing a high patient ratio of up to 1:44
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requested after initial submission will not be considered
• A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed on the first attempt
• The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers — missing more than two shifts per contract without a reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Local candidates (within 75 miles of the facility) are not eligible for this position
