American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU/CCU position at a smaller independent community hospital in Colorado, requiring Day 0 CVICU experience and a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience.

Details

• Works in the CVICU/CCU of a smaller independent community hospital located on the I-70 corridor between Denver and Grand Junction, CO
• Facility has 2 Cath Labs, including 1 Hybrid Cath Lab
• 12-hour day shifts (0700–1930) with weekend rotation
• On-call rotation required — 1 call shift per 2-week period, if requested due to staffing needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or Compact RN license (must be currently active; Nursys verification required)
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of RN critical care experience required
• Day 0 CVICU experience required
• Strong CVICU skills required, including cross-coverage of CCU
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Date of birth (DOB) or Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Candidate must obtain a Colorado CAPS (CAPS/CCU) clearance, which may take up to two weeks — candidates should apply as soon as possible
• Hospital-owned, fully furnished studio and 1-bedroom apartments are available approximately half a block from the facility for direct rental by travelers during their assignment, based on availability — contact your recruiter for details
