Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at an acute care hospital, working 3x12-hour night shifts with remote telemetry monitoring experience preferred.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting on a 32-bed Med/Surg unit (4EA) with remote telemetry capability
• Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical patients
• Telemetry is ordered as needed and monitored 24/7
• IV drip experience required, including Dopamine (5mcg constant rate, no titration, renal perfusion only) and Heparin
• Cerner EMR in use
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana (IN) or a Compact state currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Med/Surg acute care experience required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates residing between 50 and 100 miles from the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• No orientation hours are included with this assignment
