American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an outpatient Transplant Services position in Dallas, TX, working Monday–Friday days with experience in solid organ transplant care preferred but not required.

• Outpatient transplant services unit specializing in abdominal organ transplants, including liver, kidney, and pancreas
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Primarily desk-based role requiring strong computer proficiency; clinic days with patient rooming and assessment occur as needed
• EMR systems in use: Meditech, TransChart, and PatientKeeper
• Patient population includes pre-transplant (waitlist), and post solid organ transplant patients with complex psychosocial needs
• No floating, no on-call, and no weekend requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
• Proficiency with computer-based work, including experience with Microsoft applications
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Transplant experience is not required for this role; a willingness to learn and contribute in an outpatient setting is emphasized
• Two or more years of transplant experience is preferred, as is experience with UNOS and OPO
• WebEx meetings conducted as needed
• Ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility across pre-transplant, waitlist, and post-transplant patient assignments with a caring and compassionate demeanor
• Dress code: royal blue scrubs or business casual
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
