American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-Op position at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring infusion and procedural experience with Epic charting.

• Pre-Op unit within a 500-bed Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• Infusion and procedural experience required for this role
• Patient ratio of 1:2 on day shifts
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts, with shift times between 0700 and 0800 and variable days off
• Up to 4 Saturday shifts per month required, with weekend hours of 0630-1900 or 0700-1930
• Floating required within scope between the Endoscopy and Ambulatory Procedure units to meet facility needs
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR used — experience preferred but not required (hard stop charting system)
• Onsite parking available at a daily cost; offsite parking option also available approximately 1 mile away with weekday shuttle service (5 AM–10 PM, Monday–Friday)

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required
• At least 2 travel assignments beyond initial hospital experience required
• Infusion and procedural nursing experience required
• Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma experience preferred
• COVID vaccination and booster required — no exceptions
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• 18-week contract (approximately 13 weeks minimum)
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction
• RTO cannot be requested during orientation week; time off requests should be kept to a minimum
• Former UW Health system employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 18 months before being considered as a traveler

• Scrubs: any solid color accepted; light blue scrubs are available on unit and OR scrubs are provided in the OR
