American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Step Down/PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry unit position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and travel nursing experience.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
• Placement on either a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on facility need and candidate skillset
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience required
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set, both within the facility and to sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Will accept candidates with either a Med-Surg or Step Down RN background, as credentialing is the same for both
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• Full SSN and full DOB will be required as part of the submission process
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
