American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and Epic proficiency, with night shift hours and every-other-weekend rotation.

Details

• Med-Surg/Step Down unit (7E) in a hospital setting
• Traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest need, which may be a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on skills
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set onsite or to nearby sites within 40 miles
• Epic EMR — experience required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Both Med-Surg and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both skill sets
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
