American Traveler is hiring an EP Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 1 year of EP experience and proficiency in a range of electrophysiology procedures.

Details

• EP Lab unit within a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Level II Trauma Center setting
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30) with a 30-minute break
• Charting performed in Epic
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or CT state license) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required
• Circulate procedure experience required
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring required
• Required EP procedure skills: Arrhythmia Induction, Cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, Pacemaker Insertion, and Tilt Table Study
• Candidates must have a clean nursing license (no prior disciplinary actions)
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who were previously permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
