American Traveler is hiring a Float RN for a PCU/Med-Surg position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications with night shift availability and every other weekend commitment.

Details

• Float position covering both the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Med-Surg departments
• PCU nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1; Med-Surg ratio is 7:1
• Each floor has 25 beds
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• No block scheduling
• No on-call requirements
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• EMR system is Meditech

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Experience in both PCU and Med-Surg settings required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• Candidate will float between PCU and Med-Surg and should be comfortable working in both environments
