American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Psychiatric position at a pediatric and adolescent inpatient facility, requiring prior pediatric psych experience and phlebotomy skills.

Details

• Inpatient psychiatric facility specializing in pediatric and adolescent patients
• 2nd shift only
• Patient population consists of children and adolescents receiving psychiatric and residential treatment care

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
• Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required
• Phlebotomy experience required, including performing blood draws on pediatric and adolescent patients

Additional Information

• Provides general and specialized nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Manager, including medication administration and medical treatment
• Participates in comprehensive treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two manager references are required for consideration
