Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/PACU position requiring critical care experience and familiarity with cath lab recovery, with day shifts and no call or weekend requirements.

Details

• Works in the Cath Lab PACU within a hospital setting
• Patients recovering from procedures ranging from general anesthesia to moderate sedation
• Groin site management and cath lab recovery are central to the role
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Epic charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
• Critical care experience required
• Familiarity with cath lab recovery, including groin site management
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler at this facility
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
