American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position at a Level III Trauma hospital in Beckley, WV, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties.

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 7 OR suites
• RN Circulator role serving patients of all ages
• Surgical specialties include General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery
• 1:1 patient ratio
• EMR: Meditech
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required, with potential for on-call
• Call requirements: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• Interdepartmental floating required as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
• Circulating experience in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic Surgery specialties required
• OR scrub/circulator experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves as RN Circulator across a broad range of surgical specialties in a Level III Trauma facility
• Facility scrubs are provided; personal casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not permitted
• Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
