American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Plastic Surgery clinic position in Rapid City, SD, requiring at least 1 year of experience and post-op care skills in an outpatient clinic setting.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in plastic surgery
• Average daily census of approximately 15 patients
• Patient population consists of plastic surgery pre- and post-operative cases
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• No weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Clinic is closed for major holidays
• EMR: Epic (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active RN license in South Dakota or a compact state license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Post-op care skills required, including management of drains, sutures, staples, and dressing changes
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Two professional references dated within the past year required for consideration
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides post-operative nursing care to plastic surgery patients in a clinic environment
• Department support includes 1 MA, a receptionist, a lead nurse, 4 MDs, and 4 APPs
• Orientation consists of a new employee orientation (NEO) followed by approximately 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation
• Blue scrubs required
• Free parking available on-site
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
