American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step-Down Unit position requiring a CA RN license, with night shift scheduling and weekend coverage requirements.

Details

• Step-down unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week cycle
• Floating may be required to like units or lower acuity units within the organization (excluding the ED)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Step-down or comparable acute care nursing experience required

Additional Information

• At least one holiday and the associated holiday weekend must be worked
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
