American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular OR Surgical Tech (CVOR) for a 13-week travel contract in Las Cruces, NM, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and open heart surgical skills.

Details

• Position is located in the CVOR department of an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Travelers will float to the main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Call required every other week, including weekends
• Joint Commission Accredited facility with a Chest Pain Center (Primary PCI) and Certified Primary Stroke Center designation

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR surgical tech experience required
• Hands-on experience with open heart procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), aortic/mitral valve surgery, and lung procedures required
• Permanent address must be located more than 60 miles from the facility
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for this position
